Feature to smooth out whole track

I would love to see a feature, e.g. built into the track editor which gives me the option to smooth out an already imported, poorly recorded gpx track by entering a factor or a threshold, like "remove every fifth point" or "remove all points with identical or somewhat similar coordinates considering the given threshold". This way I could optimize a whole track using one button instead of straightening single sections by only removing points between a start and and end point.

There are apps and desktop programs doing that. But so far, I always have to export the gpx file, run it it through them, and then reimport it into Locus. Quite fussy.
