GPS accuracy - tablet type
Not a Problem
We have experienced quite a lot of issues with the GPS accuracy in Denmark. Any ideas to improve the accuracy? We are running Locus Maps on a Samsung A8 tablet, maybe there is another tablet type with a better GPS / receiver?
Is is possible to connect a external GPS and how?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
as for the tablet type, there are surely a lot of devices with good location abilities. However, we can't name anything particular. If you are considering buying a new device, make sure it can receive all satellite services signal - GPS, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou.
And yes, Locus Map can operate with external GPS, connected via Bluetooth. More at http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tools:bluetooth
