New search: cursor keys of AnySoftKeyboard broken

Dear team,
the offline and thus data protecting AnySoftKeyboard offers ← and → in the keyboard and pressing them moves the blinking cursor one position left/right. This is very helpful to correct typos in strings that are not existing in the dirctionary – quite often for shop and location names. This does not work in 4.17.2 online address search but IIRC it did work in some older 4.x version and it certainly does work in 3.68.2
