bad route selection for offline LoRoadCycling

refer to the 2 attached GPXs - the route calculated using LM LoRoadCycling is an unsealed track (sufficient OSM metadata). It would be a crazy choice of route for a road bike. I tried other offline routing profiles and they all correctly selected the obvious nearby sealed road. It seemed the obvious choice. 250m less distance for the off-road route with 13% slope compared to 10% on-road.
The same problem
