Export to Strava paired with activity type

Not a Problem

The sport selected when exporting to Strava should match the type of activity set during recording. It currently remembers the last one selected during export.

You should note that Strava does not import all activities. Describe your problem in more detail.

OK. Last exported to Strava activity had choosen "ride" from dropdown. If you try export activity recorded as "cycling", "walk", "running" (or whatever) "ride" is selected as default.

You can create different recording profiles. One for cycling, one for walking....
In each one you can then specify what it is exported as. As far as I know, there is no function to set this automatically.

Hi,

Locus Map activities and Strava activities are not paired. This is also because Strava's API does not provide all Strava activities. E.g. Strava web offers several kinds of cycling (road, MTB, gravel...), and Strava API provides only "ride".

Yeah, I know that. But the same argument can be used when you're manually choosing type of activity. You still cannot select MTB etc. So walk should be walking, cycling should be ride etc. If you are pedantic enough you can specify it in Strava app. It's better than have rides marked as walking etc. by mistake.
