Locus 3.70.9 Backup of LoMaps
Answered
Dear Team,
using the older Version of Locus with an increasing number of LoMaps (to use it in offline-mode)
and tracks it takes more and more time to load the maps during the start up.
It looks like it "hangs" at 69-70%.
Later it works fine, but you can't talk about a "quick start" of the app.
My idea is to backup the Lomaps and erase them from the smartphone.
2 Questions:
- Can i reinstall the Lomaps later, without buying them again?
- Is the more of Lomaps and tracks really the reason, why the app starts slower and slower?
Kind regards
Thomas
Hi,
it's not the map but the active tracks that slow down the app start. The app needs to load a great amount of active data in such a case. Deactivate the tracks that you don't use every day.

Yes that's it. After deactivating the not used tracks the startup procedure runs much faster.
Thank you
