Offline route planning does not work even with map downloaded

I have downloaded lomap for north italy, when I try to create new route, popup appears for every waypoint about missing internet connection, route is not created.
The same problem 
Nevermind, I figured out that for route planner I have to choose map separately before starting route planning

You don't need a map to plan your route. You need offline routing data for the area. And you need to set up an offline router.

as freischneider wrote, it is crucial to correctly select the router engine. In the route planner screen, tap on the bottom left "Routing type" icon to display a detailed setup. Here, validate that you have selected the offline router as on the screenshot. This should help, let me know.
