How to import dwg from topographers into locus? So that electricity lines or wells for example would appear as tracks or points?

Hello Linas,

Locus Map does not support DWG format natively. For this purpose, you have to convert it into one of the supported formats (the best is GPX or KML).

An alternative is converting to SHP format and using our second app Locus GIS for this.

But is it enough only to save 2d autocad file as KML or GPX or some extra steps needs to be done for Locus to show imported file properly?

To be true, I've never tried this. Also depends on the complexity of your DWG file.

But if it's not a hard task for you, the best is just giving it a try. As I see, there are even some online tools for this, like this one.
