Speaker symbol in the Garmin radar bar

A crossed-out speaker symbol was displayed in the Garmin radar bar on the left edge....
Apparently I had (somehow) muted the acoustic warning.
I then tapped the symbol, it disappeared, acoustic warnings came back - only the LS symbol no longer appeared...
Shouldn't the speaker symbol be visible all the time and indicate whether acoustic warnings are active or not depending on the status?

whole top part of the side bar is clickable. There is always visible small symbol of the "radar", image with battery level and also crossed volume in case, radar is set to "silent". This whole part is clickable and make mute/loud changes.

Thanks - I saw the crossed out volume symbol - but then it was gone ... Now I know why ;)
