Finnish Kapsi.fi maps no longer work.

Update: As of 25.9, the mpas are working again.

I hope it's ok to report problem this way, I feel pointless registering to forum just for this one.

I have had problem with kapsi.fi -maps every time I have tried to use it last year. Proplem is exaclty like this post https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/35882-finnish-kapsi-fi-maps-no-longer-work that maps is not loading. And right this time it's not working.

Otherways big thanks for great app.

Hi Olli,

it seems Kapsi maps have changed the source URL of their data. We've been verifying if this change is temporary or definitive.

There is again problem with the Finnish "Kapsi.fi" mapserver. Locus cannot load any of the Kapsi map layers.

Sorry, but it seems that Kapsi.fi maps will be unavailable again for a while. The map server (tilescache) is down. Below is a listing for the Kapsi.fi administrator

At the moment, we are unable to provide EPSG:900913 coordinate system material via the TMS service. The service has been migrated to a new backend system, which caused it to stop functioning because support for the coordinate system was not implemented. Since we currently lack the necessary expertise to fix this, we ask users of the service to perform the required coordinate transformations themselves. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a precise timeline for resolving the issue. We apologize for the situation and the lack of communication. The problem is related to tilecache and mapserv configuration, for which the active service administrators do not have sufficient knowledge. If you can offer assistance, please join the IRCNet channel #kapsi-kartat.

Still the same online problem with Kapsi.fi ! Somehow iti is working when you bring map by WMS and write URL like https://tile.kartat.kapsi.fi/peruskartat? But in this way you can add only one layermap. If you want borders it just shows boreslayer not the basemap.

As I understand, Kapsi.fi maps problems have been fixed already year and a half ago (?), but modifications needed in Locus maps settingsfile have not been implemented/updated.

Modifications needed are to add proper suffixes (.png/.jpg) to links as stated on the https://kartat.kapsi.fi page.
