Steps incorrectly considered as residential road

I don't know if this is a correct place to report bugs. Please let me know if it is not.

On the screenshot attached, you can see that Locus displays major part of the route as a Residential road.

As you can see, this way is highway=steps, and not a residential road at all, but user have no chance to know it.

The best suggestion is to learn how to use the open source OpenStreetMap (OSM) database to improve the information regards the road yourself. All Locus and many other maps only exist because of volunteers that have contributed to OSM.

Andrew, this is a problem of Locus Map, not of OSM. We are dealing with it.

Andrew, thanks for telling people about OSM, it's really important, I'm not kidding. As for me, I've been editing OSM since 2007 =)

Hi,

thanks for the report. We've reconsidered the waytype indication and we'll include the steps as another category. The change will come into effect in the next app version.
