Remember the MY LIBRARY vertical scrollbar position

Everytime you move back to the list of tracks or points, say after editing a track or point, the list is scrolled back to the top. This can be really annoying when the list is long. It can't be too hard to remember the MY LIBRARY vertical scrollbar position? Do the LM team use their own tools for their personal route planning? Surely some of these easy-to-improve little ideas would have been implemented a long time ago otherwise. I compare it to brouter.m11n.de where most features even have special keyboard shortcuts, what a joy to use.

Yes and no. There are folders where I want this behavior and there are folders where I don't.
It is even active when sorting and it is annoying. I sort by creation date and look at one in the middle. Then I sort by nearest. Then I'm still in the middle. Then I have to go all the way to the top. Often also to see if I have the closest or farthest ones at the top.
I have 6000 in this folder. So it's a long way every time.
I think most people use nearest to see the tracks around them. And then they need the closest to the top and want to be scrolled to the top.

are you discussing Android or WebPlanner?

I can't see "nearest" is relevant to WebPlanner

Ahh - OK. The scrolling in Android is 100% perfect. It always remembers the scroll/ sort/ direction. I'm just suggesting the Web Planner gets a bit of love too.

@andrew heard: regarding Android, the app used to remember scroll position, right? I am not sure I remember it correctly but I think it did. Now there is a new library (which is overall better) and it does not remember scroll position.

@Tomas Hnyk - you are correct on both accounts. LM in Android used to remember the track & point list scroll position; and I just checked - it no longer does. That's a shame when the list is long. Do you want to make a https://help.locusmap.eu idea for it?
