There is no access to the "Pause between notifications" field.

Solved

Notification dialog box. There is no access to the "Pause between notifications" field. The keyboard closes it. Scrolling the window does not work. When you try to close the keyboard, the dialog box closes.

Tested on Lenovo P2 Android 7 and Samsung Galaxy A40 Android 10

in addition.... another mistake.

The "to stop" switch does not work and is not needed. replace it with a radius when you need to stop introducing a point.

Hi,

the problem with the pause parameter covered by the keyboard will be fixed in the next app version. The stop button will remain - it is a means of stopping the alert. And we can't simulate any problem with it...

I propose to stop the notification upon arrival in the area of a point of a given radius. In this case, you can stop near the point or just drive through the point, the alert will turn off anyway. Such a solution would be more universal, wouldn't it?

The point alert only works for a group of points, not for a single point. If the alert would stop automatically after approaching the first point of the group, other points wouldn't be alerted. (if you want to be alerted of one point only, use guidance instead). Nevertheless, when you have a non-repeating alert set up, one point of a group is alerted only once. When you have repeating alert on, you can stop it manually:

Michal, I was completely confused by your answer, and I decided to read the user manual. :-)

And after reading the manual, I finally understood what it was about.

<Notify before stopping> - it turns out that we are talking about the termination of the notification function itself.

But I understood this parameter as - <stop notifying about this POI if I reached this POI and stopped>. The name of the parameter was not chosen very well, perhaps it should be reformulated.

So, my idea is that instead of one parameter Distance <distance of the alert start zone>, there should be two parameters Distance1 and Distance2, where Distance1 is still <distance of the alert start zone> , Distance2 is <distance of the alert stop zone>.

In this case, with the <Notify until stopped> option enabled, approaching the POI at a distance of Distance1, I will constantly hear the direction and distance to the POI. Upon arriving at a POI at a distance of Distance2, the notification for this POI will stop because it is no longer necessary information. As you approach the next POI at a distance of Distance1, everything will repeat on the route.

I hope that after such changes, this tool will become more convenient.

OK, the "Notify until stopped" feature will be replaced by "Repeat notifications." I hope that's a clearer description of the feature. As for the proposed modification, each such change must be voted on by users on the helpdesk, so please create an Idea with a clear and thorough description of the change. When it gets support from others, the devs may start considering implementing it.
