Am I missing something or I cannot set the map-screen content button to the bottom panel?

change from question to suggestion; allow treatment as any other optional left/ right/ bottom panel button

Thanks, I would just like to note that since it is possible to have the quick-map switch sidepanel or Map themes there, this indeed feel inconsistent.

Ha, I misunderstood, I thought you have the power to make this into a suggestion. To me, ti would make sense to treat this button as any other.

Hi,

the content panel can't be moved. It can only be hidden. Nevertheless, almost all its buttons can be placed on the bottom or right panels, individually or within the "quick settings" box.

>It can only be hidden.

not entirely true - there is no Hidden option, only Visible & Auto-hide:

contrast with the Track Recording button settings:

If there was a Hidden option, I would investigate freeing up map space but using the Quick Settings box.

Guys, the content panel button is one of the main controls of the app. The option to hide it completely is technically possible but regarding the less advanced users, who often set something by accident and then forget what and how they had done, we would possibly solve "problems" like "my content panel has disappeared and I can't display LoPoints, the app is crap and I'm giving it 1* on Google Play review". So sorry but I hope you understand.

I understand, but are not Expert settings meant for features like this? (I do not want to hide the button, just move it to bottom panel, I would be totally happy with arrangement where it would show up where it is now if it were not placed in one of the other panels. However, I can of course live without it being implemented :-)).
