I have a few questions about the options at Strava World.
1. download: I think this is where I download the map for offline use. Will only this map version be used for this area from then on? What happens when I am online. Will the newer online data then be used or the old offline data.
2nd sign with the clock: I can't quite read the text and don't know what I can do with the function.
3. clear cache: What is everything in the cache ? Is it the offline data from the download or other data.

firstly, "Strava World" maps are not officially provided in Locus Map and can be only added as custom maps. For such maps functionality we do not bear responsibility.
1) when you download the map, it is in the "offline" section of the map manager and can be activated from there or from the "overlay" dialog. When you activate the Strava map from the online section, you'll always see the online map.
2) here you can set the cache timeout - the time after which the cached (not downloaded) maps are deleted. The full description shows when you tap and open the dialog:
3) clear cache deletes the contents of the cache (temporary memory). It doesn't delete the downloaded map.
