Navigation sounds cannot be disabled.
Solved
When navigation is active, trying to turn off navigation sounds does not lead to anything. Voice prompts remain active. When the sound is turned off, the sound level slider turns gray, but when you reopen the navigation control dialog box, the slider becomes active again.
I checked on Android 7 and 10.

Yes, there is a problem. To explain: The behaviour of the "Mute navigation sounds" checkbox is reversed in my case. If activated, the notification sounds are emitted (e.g. when deviating from the route). If it is deactivated, they remain muted.
