Track highlight: is it possible to change from yellow to another color?
Answered
Hi,
I use maps where the roads background is in yellow, which make it difficult to visualise a track when it is selected, because the selected track turns from blue to yellow.
Is there a possibility to change the color of an highlighted track?
I have looked at :
https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/track_highlight_color
but cannot see a solution.
I then activated the Expert settings where I can see a lot of color customisation, but I cannot find anything related to the highlighted track.
Did I miss something? Can you help?
Thanks,
Vincent
As far as I know, this cannot be changed.
However, the "highlight colour" depends on the line colour of the track. Blue line = highlighted yellow, red line = highlighted cyan, green line = highlighted pink etc.
Perhaps you can try a different line colour.

Hi Vincent,
you can deactivate the track highlighting in the expert settings:
The track color remains the same after tapping it and opening its detail screen:

Hi Graf, Michal,
Thank you both for your suggestions. Based on that I played a little more with all the colours, paterns and their reverse and discovered the outline. Outline add 1 px on each side of the track, but changing the width of the track from 3 to 1 make it the same size. Now I see a high contrast with the map, highlighted or not, see screenshot. Perfect! There are so many possibilities!
Thanks again, cheers!
