target arrow orientation has changed

Hi,

since last update 4.27.1 the behavior of the target arrow has changed.

In the past the arrow (near 134m) was orientated true bearing like I move.

Now the arrow is identical to my true north oriented map.

I hope this is a bug and not a planned change.

I thought it was just me, as I have just got a new mobile and it's been driving me crazy to find what setting I needed to change. Do we have a time line for the next app update will be available?

A new version is waiting for a Google Play review. After it's approved, it'll be available. This can take hours or days.

I saw Locus had updated yesterday to version 4.27.2 (on an Android mobile), so decided to test the Guide On function. Disappointingly, its still got the bug and points the direction on the map, NOT the direction of travel, see pictures.

Is this going to be fixed or is it possible to go back to an older version, as I use this function regularly for geocaching and it's really annoying?

David, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We had to urgently publish a hotfix due to an outage of our satellite map provider. The hotfix, however, doesn't contain all the other fixes and improvements that we have implemented during the last two months. Next week we are planning to publish a new major version containing all the fixes including this one.
