Hi Krzysztof,

are you sure you set the app exactly according to the instructions? I've just tested it with the same maps - Pieniny and Sacz Beskid - and when both maps are in different folders, they do not merge. Nevertheless, when they are in the same folder, they merge despite the auto-load is set to "no auto-load" - that will be discussed with the main developer.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I'm more concerned with the fact that I can't see the map files in the specified path, which makes it impossible for me to move them a level up. Maybe due to the fact that the files are on the sd card. I have auto load disabled in the settings.

Unfortunately, the private sector Android/data on the SD card can't be accessed easily on the latest Android OS. If you move the map directory to Android/media it will be accessible.

I can't change the root directory. When I change the location of the maps folder I still can't see the maps. After reinstallation same thing

You don't have to move the whole app directory. Just the map directory. Go to settings > Backup & file system > File system manager > Set custom sub-directories > Set 'maps/' directory > select "Private 'Android/media' folder on SD card:

I have several other maps in other locations where I have a similar problem. What is the best way to do this? The maps that are to be visible are to be in the parent directory?

If you want the maps to load automatically when going from one to another, place them in one folder. If you don't want this because the maps overlay too large an area or they are of a different quality (as in the Compass case), place them in different folders.

Or, as I've been reminded by the main dev, you can rename the "Locus/maps/compass.pl" folder into "Locus/maps/compass_split" and the maps won't auto-load.

I fixed my problem (set directory name). Thank you very much!!
