Distance accuracy

I recorded a recent bike ride, which I know is about 50 km long. The recording says it is about 105km ?? Locus maps has all the correct permissions, and the satellite coverage is fine.
I have attached a screen dump if that helps.
Can anyone advise me?

Probably one point was recorded far, far away from Melbourne and has not been drawn?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I have manually fixed the route by editing, and overwritten it. It was actually a series of jagged lines, as if the GPS was only working intermittently. You can see this if you zoom on the image. I think it was probably “ battery saving”. Thanks again.

Beyond systemwide battery saving there are two other settings that typically do help:
- run Locus as a service (Locus setting)
- no restriction for Locus (Android setting, Locus details, Accu - not restricted)
