I believe it is a popular problem in LoMaps disappearing map details when zooming in. Is it? there is a solution? Perhaps it is an hardware problem I never investigate too much?
In the attached pix you find also that zooming a bit, the colour of a fjord water loose the blue and assumes ground colour while details disappear... And that without zoom increase, scrolling a bit north we discover that details appear again, even if no altitude download is suggested ..

I'm sorry but I can't simulate (testing Chille and Argentina LoMaps because this area is on the border of mentioned countries).
Anyway, I'd say that you use some alternative theme for vector maps. Would you please try the default (built-in) Hike & Bike theme?
