Track metadata missing after moving tracks in new MyLibrary!

I think there is some bug in the new MyLibrary regarding moving tracks: I'm losing metadata. Right now I'm not sure if this is just a display issue or some real data corruption in the database.

After the db migration, I had two folders: "Points" and "Tracks". Then I moved all the six folders out of "Tracks" and into the root folder. Inside the folder "Urlaub", I created two subfolders and started further moving tracks into there. Only then I realized something was not right: Especially for older tracks, Locus (on Android) didn't show track time, length or height information anymore. For even older tracks, even the date was reset to 1970 (thankfully I have that in the track names). First I thought I might just not have all the data in the older tracks, but when comparing with Locus Web (without doing another Cloud Sync), I can see that in there the data is still ok (before the move).

But for other tracks that I had already synced before (after the update and db migration), the data is also missing in Locus Web. Interestingly, somehow there is still some data left, because the path is shown on the map and I can also still edit the (existing) track. So I think it is "only" metadata that got corrupted.
See screenshots. I can provide more detailed data if necessary. Right now I am a little worried (not too much, as I indeed have backups). But as the backup obviously does not directly work with the new version (it would only re-migrate the database, I guess), I would hope this can be fixed without the need of a restore.

Best regards
Sascha

Ok, after googling a little bit further I found [APP] - version 4.28.+ ( 2/2025 ) and can confirm that tracks can be fixed by setting / changing activity, which seems to recalculate all the metadata. It would just be nice if I wouldn't need to do that manually for a couple hundred of tracks..

Everything is fine with me. I looked at older tracks from 2015. Some of them even without activity. But everything is okay here.

I have a mixed result in the sense after moving a track folder, when viewing that folder (not single tracks) some tracks still have all metadata, some none, some have only month & day but no year. It does not strictly relate to dates, e.g. some tracks of 2018 has lost alle metadata, while some of 2013 still have all.

I really wonder that I shall have not a single track between 2018 and 2022 in one folder according to sort by > updated. It's possible, but my gut feeling tells it's unlikely. I whish I could easily compare with the backup that was created before update to v4.28

Hi Sascha,

could you please share a backup of your database? I'll try simulating the issue with it.
