Button to select folder out of screen

Michael Bechtold shared this problem 3 days ago
In Progress

When stopping and saving a track you cannot select another folder in portrait mode (Galaxy S10). Only if you switch to landscape this button appears.

Same problem when working with tracks for other (than saving) reasons.

Hi Michael,

could you please post a screenshot of the wrong layout? We are unable to simulate the problem on a Galaxy S10. Do you have the latest app version?

Here we go, Michal.

This screen is dysfunctional in portrait mode, regardless of context.

TXs and cheers

Michael

Thanks but no one in our team can simulate the issue. Please update to the latest 4.28.2. available at https://bit.ly/lmVersions (Google Play distributes it gradually)

Michael, what Android OS do you use? Do you use a rooted OS? Or, do you use any app or launcher that modifies the style of your system bars?

Android 12 (latest and last for S10), not rotes.

App launcher is default Samsung UI

The expert setting full screen has no influence, also 1170 Locus behaves same as 1169 beta (always AFA, which is working correctly on Tab S6 lite)

Hi Michael,

is folder selection the only screen where you encounter this problem? What about add new folder screen? Do you see Back and Add buttons there?

And those are from edit folder, one in portrait, one in landscape mode. (And NO, I do NOT use my mobile in landscape) ;-)))

Thank you Michael! Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem with your system. We also have Samsung Galaxy S10 testing device with Android 12 and there is no problem with visibility of bottom buttons. We are also unable to simulate it on any other device. Are you 100% sure, that you are not using any app, which can modify system UI? The other thing is that also your status bar has the wrong colour. It should be blue like toolbar and you have the black one. How did you achieve that? Take a look at a screenshot from our Galaxy S10 device. Thank you in advance!

Two have a problem, one does not. The problem wins!

I have dark mode enabled, and do not use Locus expert aettings full screen.

There are dozens of settings in Locus and Android combined. You can hardly test all combinations, hence the programming has to be resilient. Menion will know what to do, I bet.

Yes, Locus has dozens of settings but none of them should influence status bar colour and position of bottom buttons. Neither dark mode, full screen nor any combinations of them. I also see your mobile operator name and internet speed in your status bar, and I think, that it is not possible to get them there without any custom app. And that custom app could potentially affects navigation bar behaviour. Thats why I am asking, if you have any system ui modifying application.

And thanks Michael for the trust, but in this area, Marek is more skilled than me ;)
