Geocaching notes not exported
In Progress
At least in Locus Map classic if exporting a Geocache to a GPX-file the Personal cache notes are not exported.
To be more precise: First update a Geocache within Locus, which contains a "Personal cache note" in its geocaching.com-Listing. Then in Locus click onto the top-right menu-button >"Notes". Here you can see the Personal geocaching.com note within the field "ONLINE". (theres also a second field "LOCAL" for personal notes entered within Locus)
The Problem: Just the "LOCAL" field is exported, not the "ONLINE" field too.
I'm not sure, but I think this worked correct several months ago. Although you are not bugfixing major problems in Locus Classic anymore, maybe you could fix this quite tiny but annoying bug, thanky you! :-)
Hi Sonny, tap "use as local" under the online note and it will be exported:

Of course, that would technically work. But I'm quite sure this is not the way Locus worked in the past. Why should people do this cumbersome copying-process Cache-by-cache just to get the Cachenotes of a bunch of Caches exported?
Please note that in almost every case the important Note-info (which is saved online in the dialog box of the geocaching.com listing) is usually just available in the "ONLINE" field. So please export/import both Note-fields again, thanks

The geocache export was changed so that the online notes are exported when there are no offline notes attached to the cache. This change will take effect in LM Classic too when an update is released.

Thanks Michal this is great to hear! But please think about if it would be even better to export both kind of Notes: "Online" and "Local". Into 2 different tags within the GPX-file, for example <groundspeak:personal_note> and <groundspeak:locus_local_note>
Just in this case it is possible to export and reimport both kind of Notes into Locus without loosing any of them. This would be important if I send my caches containing both kind of Notes to a friend also using Locus.

Hello Sonny,
I see there is mainly a problem that such tags are not officially supported. So changes won't be preserved when using any software between. What about GSAK or similar, is there any solution for this?
This is also close to a bigger change I would like not to do in Locus Classic, sorry.
I would like to read from more cachers about usage of these notes & its import and export.
@balloni, any idea about it? You are using this if I remember correctly right?

In this case it is no problem, since Note-tags are not used by Groundspeak itself (they are not part of PQs), and GSAK-implementation of Notes is somewhat unlogical by using a log and no Geocache-tag for notes. So you just have to take care that export/import within Locus is working :-)

Oki, I've just improved it, so it will be available in the next Beta version at the end of this week.
