Please add the Locus4 library function to Locus Classic
Answered
Please integrate the newly applied library to Locus4 into Locus Classic.
I use Locus4 and Locus Classic for different purposes. Both use the AFA version and use the same folder in the root folder.
Currently, I can't use Locus Classic because the root, folder, and pointer management methods are different.
I know it's difficult, but I would like to request that you insert the Locus4 library function into Locus Classic.
LM3 was abandoned years ago. It is no longer being improved.

As a company that needs to pay salaries you always have to compare "additional cost" versus versus "additional revenue". The result of this exercise is clear, hence I would not expect that feature. Also - end to end - it's not an effort of a few hours.
But you have a workaround at hand: separate the two apps, take a pre-migration copy of the database, take the exports of newer tracks/points and import them into the LM3 database.
If immediate sync is essential to you, having two LM4s is the way to go anyway, I think. Is there anything LM3 can do that LM4 cannot?

Hi,
as we informed 4 years ago, Locus Map 3 Classic is in maintenance mode only and the development is focused on Locus Map 4, web services and iOS version. LM3 Classic is now entering its final stage - it will be discontinued in the spring of 2026.
