cannot import backup created by Locus map 4 into locus classic anymore. that worked before

That worked before and I just tested the import on another device running Locus map 4 and the import worked
The same problem 
there was no error message when locus map classic imported the backup file. It reported success and as usual wanted a restart which I did, but points and tracks were empty.

Since the introduction of the new MyLib in LM4, the databases of LM3 (classic) and LM4 are no longer compatible and must be kept separate.
