Algorytm of reducing details of map in Locus
Hi,
I am looking for an Android hardware (tablet) for Locus Map.
My main concern is to have a map zoomed out as much as possible without loosing any details from a map (i mean have visible even smallest roads/paths).
Normally (from my experience with other apps/maps) the best for that are devices with highest resolution of screen, but in Locus something works unexpected.
I have tested 5 devices lately (same version of Locus - newest , same map, defaults settings, etc)
In most cases bigger resolution of screen allows showing bigger map without loosing any details,
but I can not undestand why my phone (Samsung Galaxy A55 - 6,6" 1080 x 2340 px) shows more on screen than theoretically better devices: Tablet Huawei MediaPad M3 - 8,4" 1600x2560 px)?
How to pick most optimal device in such criteria?
Is there a way to configure the Locus Map a way to not lose details such quick?
Hi,
what about using the "zoom lock"? More at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_mainscr_ctrl#magnifier_zoom_lock_screen_lock
