Shortcuts to Points and Tracks folders
Gathering feedback
In LM3 we could directly choose the "Points" as well as "Tracks" folder from either the menu or by a function button. In LM4 this is not available any more, there's just one parent "My library" button.
The disadvanted: If we want to modify points in a certain Point folder, we have always to navigate through the pathes until we reach the desired folder. If frequently working with folders and subfolders this could get annoying.
So my idea: Please let the users add Menu buttons and Function buttons as shortcut for any custom Point or Track folder to open these with one click.
I have voted for your idea Sonny (& suggested shortcuts in far earlier forum discussion though no other comments). But the statement "we have always to navigate through the pathes until we reach the desired folder" is not entirely correct - tapping the MyLibrary button returns you to the last used folder, so navigation is hopefully minimized? I like the behavior.

Thanks Andrew for your idea's support! You're right, Locus' behaviour of opening the last used folder is a nice and ideal feature. But it's not a complete solution like the one which is proposed here, if people are regularly working with different point and track folders and want to open one or each of them by just 1 or 2 clicks

How about a virtual "Recent" folder above "MyLibrary" that contains the recently used folders. This would keep the list small and access to often used folders would be quick.
What are "recently used folders", anyway? I suppose they could be the ones where "real" data was read from or written to, NOT the ones I traverse while looking for Mr Right.
After all there could be another virtual folder named "Favourites" containing folders AND files explicitly marked as "often used" with a "star".

The selection of folders is available when importing and moving a track.
It would be nice if the most recently used folders for the corresponding action were selected.
When importing, I use 2-3 different folders. If these are displayed at the top when importing.
When moving, I use other folders. Therefore, it would be nice if the other most recently used folders were displayed when moving.
However, I still vote for favorite folders for the respective action.
