I have the format set to N 49°11.281' but it displays as N 49.18802° in point details.

I almost submitted the same thing, and am glad to see it's fixed already. (Also applied to coords shown at top of map screen.)
I wish there was a way to sort these help topics by date, most recent first. You want to search before submitting of course, but after wading through topics 5, 8, 10 years old, it's easy to give up and create a new topic instead.
