Hello, In reference to the reported problem (https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/37794-duplicate-folders) I checked a few things and indeed Locus Map Classic was responsible for creating new folders in the LM4 library. Therefore, for the time being I uninstalled LMC, tidied up the library (i.e. moved points and routes to one - the first with the largest content, folder). In the application, everything seemed to be fine, so I did a cloud synchronization. And another problem, it completely cleared my library in Locus Web Planner (attachment 1). After restoring the backup and trying to synchronize in the cloud again, only a laconic message about the lack of synchronization is displayed even without an error code. (attachment 2) Restoring subsequent, older backups, reinstalling the application and resynchronizing in the cloud end with the same - the message as in attachment 2 and still a cleared library in LWP. I've been using LM3/classic for about 8 years, LM4 for about 4 years, so the app is not new to me, but I'm slowly losing patience with it. I have LM4 version 4.29.0 gold subscription, phone with Android 12. And finally, an additional question, is it possible to turn off automatic LM4 update and if so, where to find this setting. Best regards, Wojciech Wójcik
Duplicate folders
In Progress
Hello After the last updates, I created several of the same folders of points and routes in my library. Deleting any of them deletes the entire library. Is it possible to leave only one folder with data and delete the others? Best regards Wojciech Wójcik
Hi Wojciech,
did you perform the cloud synchronization? Or how did you create the duplicate folders?

Yes, I did a cloud synchronization, unfortunately the situation did not change. I solved the problem by transferring the data (but some folders were empty) and deleting the folders one by one. The folders were created immediately after the LM4 update, I do not know the reason. I suspect that creating routes in LMClassic (I share resources for both versions on one phone) may also be the cause of the creation of additional folders. As I use LM4, I will pay attention to this and give feedback if I clearly determine the cause. For now, the problem is solved.

For your last question - assuming this is about the app itself: you have to go the PlayStore, find and select LM4, then uncheck the update box you'll find "behind" the three dots in the right upper corner.

Could you please send your Locus account address in a new private ticket? We'll have a look at the sync logs. Thanks
