Resume navigation when re-entering the route after leaving it

What do I need to configure and where so that LM 4 continues navigation to the final destination upon re-entering the route after leaving a predefined route – due to a block, shortcut, etc. – without recalculating, but rather following the predefined route? And also without LM expecting me to re-enter the route at the point where I left it!

Previously, I would end and restart navigation, and then LM would navigate to the final destination from my location (which was back on the predefined route at this point) according to the predefined route – please let LM do that itself!

Settings > Navigation

Route-recalculation: No recalculation

Advanced settings: Strict route following OFF

Optional: Maximum deviation from the route: 50 m (or whatever you like)

Hi Oliver,

1) in settings > navigation > route recalculation, turn recalculation off or set route recalculation mode to route priority. When you leave the pre-defined route due to a detour, Locus Map tries to find the closest return to the original route as possible. More at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:settings#route_re-calculation

2) turn OFF "strict route following" in settings > navigation > advanced. It's not suitable for hiking or biking.More at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:settings#strict_route_following

Thank you very much!

Strict route tracking was on—now I'm turning it off.
