Change guiding line apperiance
Hi,
I have the problem that I often do not see the path under the guiding line. The reason is related on the maps theme in combination with the guiding line. The LoMaps have a fine path the OAM has a thicker path.
I like both behaviors (themes) of the different maps and I like the style of my guiding line - it's my preferred looking to see the guiding line of different maps and surrounding lights or themes.
What me would help a lot is that when each second arrow of the guiding line would be missing or maybe transparent. Is there any why to "delete" each second arrow of the guiding line?
I know I can adjust size and shape - but I just want to eliminate each second arrow.
To understand just have a look at my screenshots with the two different maps and the underlying path.
The guidance path symbol is defined as: -6.0|-2.0|3.0|0.0|-6.0|2.0 and line thickness of 150%
Thanks Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang,
I'm afraid there isn't this kind of customization in Locus Map. You can only change the opacity of the line color in the color picker dialog if you need better visibility of the underlying road (settings > guidance > appearance > line/text color):

Hi Michal,
thanks for this idea I'll give it a try.
The most challenge for me is that I have around 10 presets mostly with different maps and themes. Including night themes. So I need to find a guiding style which works perfect in a bright outside full of sun and this should also work if I have color inverted themes for the night.,...
Because the style is a kind of "fixed" configuration it's not easy to find a good all-rounder setting.
I will test it. Thanks for sharing your idea.
