Is there a way to display points merged into track "as usual" with icons? Merged points are displayed as dots.

could you please describe the way you merged the points into the track? I tested adding points into a route in the planner and the icons are preserved.

During import of gpx track I've checked "Merge points with imported track". And that's the result:
