Route calculation with bike paths

The route calculation web.locusmap.app for bikes used to take more bike paths into account.

Example: DE 93173 Wenzenbach to 93192 Wald.

There is a complete bike path between these towns.

If I use a touring, gravel, or road bike, I am guided entirely along the road.

A mountain bike, on the other hand, uses the bike path entirely.

This makes little sense, because I can also use forest paths with mountain bikes.

Touring and gravel bikes, however, would be better off on the bike path than on the road.

Hello Knut. Thanks for reporting. The issue here is most likely generic mapping (highway=path), considered generally not very suitable for road-like bikes. Yes, there are clear signs this cycle path is very suitable for touring and even road bikes, but the logic behind is not much developed in this particular case. I am making a note for next round of work on routing. But this cannot be a new issue, routing profiles have not been changed for quite long time. Thanks, Radim.
