Google Drive - how to locate the backups

I set up the backup a long time ago. Since I have multiple accounts, it is difficult to find the backups. I cannot find an option in Locus to display the current Google account linked.

Moreover, I searched all Google accounts and cannot find any trace of the backup - although it says that it is successful. As for my knowledge, there could be two places where the data is stored: the location for backup data, or the hidden apps directories. Locus is not listed on one of them.

Hello Caro,

what you see in the menu > More functions > Backup manager > Automatic backup screen? Here should be at least visible path on the Google Drive, where your backups are stored.

Information about the linked Google account is hidden, you are correct and if I remember correctly, there is no way for the user to get this info. Logout and login again in worst care is the solution.

One more note ... in the next app version will be visible user account in case, you will try to log-out from the Google Drive service (in the file-browser). At least this small improvement...

Thanks for your support. Unfortunately I cannot find the right account. But even when I setup a new connection, I want to delete the files from the old account first.

When will this feature be available? Or can I see this somewhere in the progam files?

Hello Caro,

I completely overlooked the fact that you use the Locus Classic version - my apologies. This enhancement was only implemented in the Locus Map 4.

Unfortunately, for our big surprise, we had to remove the Google Drive support from the app last month. Some time ago, Google decided, that full file access is too dangerous for the users of the Locus Map app and refuses to allow it since September 2025. Locus Classic should also have problem with logging into Google Drive.

Sorry for the missunderstanding.
