Is it possible to recover current track after clear cache?
In Progress
Locus kept on crashing while recording a track yesterday, so I cleared the cache and temp folder. But after restart it started a new track and there is no sign of the old one. Is it possible it is still stored somewhere and recoverable?
Also, why did it keep crashing? I noticed today that the log file is 27Mb and seems to contain mainly messages about getTrackGroups not being able to connect to the internet. On other days with similar usage it is about 250kB. It seemed to be worse when following a route.
Locus v4.30.1 on Samsung Galaxy S8+, Androod 9.
Thanks, Iain
Hi Iain,
sorry for the inconvenience but emptying the app's cache removes all data from it including the recorded track.
Why the app crashed can only be analysed from a bugreport or from your user ID. You can find it in the main menu > helpdesk/about app > app info screen. More info: https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:faq:issue_reporting
