I have a question: is there a way to stop the directions from playing during the trip and only get alerts about the waypoints? Is it possible to play the waypoints while I'm navigating? 
I need to be able to navigate and have the waypoints read to me as I pass by them, but without the navigation option.

Hi Dario,

if the waypoints are not part of the route, you can use the "point alert" feature for the notification. If they are part of the route, they can be notified by the voice navigation together with the navigation commands only.

Place the attached en.tts file in the Locus TTS directory as described above

- Locate the directory in Android data or media, in internal memory or external sd card.

In Locus: Set language Text to speech: English.
