My car has an Android tablet radio with 128 GB. I am using Locus Map for off-road. Since the radio does not have SD card but has USB port where I am using it as extra storage and have the SQLite maps stored on this USB port.

How can I import large offline maps and store them on USB while locus map 4 does not see the USB storage?

Hi,

storing maps on a USB drive is not technically possible. The only supported external drive is an SD card.

What is the difference between installed map and linked map as right now using as linked maps? Other apps can see usb as external storage but not Locus! The radio brand is Linkswell T-Style XL Wrangler Radio Android 11.

I've changed the question to an idea so that other users can vote for it. When the idea gets enough support, we can start finding out how to implement it.

To Add a USB port for map storage simple, practical, and super useful for offline navigation.
