Selecting tracks and points in a folder separately
Answered
Hi there. Sometimes when you download a GPX or zip file from the internet (eg https://sunflowerbooks.co.uk/product/walking-on-lanzarote/ ) it contains both points and tracks. So when you import them into a folder, that folder will then contain a mixture of tracks and points. Is there any way you can make just the tracks or just the points in this folder visible? Sometimes you just want to see the tracks without the points cluttering up the map (or vice versa). I can't see how to do this without selecting each track or each point separately. This can be really tedious if the folder contains tens of tracks and hundreds of points. Thanks for your help. Adam

Hi Adam,
for the time being, there is no option to select just points or just tracks from a folder. I believe this feature is on our devs' road plan for the near future.

You can filter: Select the filter icon in the folder, deactivate points, then only tracks will be displayed. Or deactivate tracks, then only points will be displayed.

It would be good to have the feature in the future. I’ll look forward to seeing it.
In the meantime, Graf’s suggestion of using the filters worked and was a good work-around. Thank you Graf.

Also, you can save filter and than use it in one tap from "eye" menu.

Thanks Evgeny.
I haven’t really got to grips with filters yet. I need to read up on them in the user guide then do some experimenting. I get the impression they can be quite powerful, once you know what you are doing.
