Ability to quickly remove the blue route colour so I can see the map information underneath

I'd like to have the ability to quickly / temporarily remove the blue track / route colour so that I can easily see the map info underneath, such as if it's a path, track, road etc. At the moment I have to click through a few menus to do this and then turn it on again. One mapping software I use for OS maps had the route icon temporarily disappear when you pan or scroll the map. It's probably a bug but it's very useful.

I changed settings of track line in order to seen the road/path behind.

The principle is to use a big arrow, with a lot of space betwen each arrow. Slope stay visible.

I have donne this setting also for folders. Often with differences when I work on routes, to compare a record to a route.

Thanks. I've seen that and tried it but it doesn't seem to work, I've got the same settings as you.
