Is it possible to choos the map wich is used in the overview from the shared picture?
Can I also change which statistic is shown in the picture

Hi Norb,
The image sharing of a track is only rendered from a LoMap but you can choose a different background - a design photo or your own photo. And here's a space for a hack :) When you take a screenshot of the map screen with any other map in advance, you can use it as a background. Here's an example with an aerial map:
