GPX imported multiple times

I imported 6 GPX-tracks, one by one, as there does not seem to be an other way.
I ended up with 21.
I am not sure if they are distinct, or only listed.
I deleted the excess, and ended up with the intended 6 displayed on the map.
The import was into a map 2 levels under Library.
The same problem 
Ignore. Can't delete.
The GPX-files turned out to have multiple sections.
So 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 21.
