Zooming freezing after importing a KML with huge amount of points.
Solved
After last update Locus becames slow and almost impossible to zoom in on any map.

bingo! problem dissapeared after disabling folder with 4100 points (imported from wiating.eu).
On previous Locus version there was no problem with such number of points, and adding this information to normal map is extremelly usefull for me (place to stay overnight, eg. https://wiating.eu/location/V3fp6IQBI4upiNtz86cd ).
Hope you can fix this problem, so I may still use points from wiating.eu

I tried to reduce number of points to 1500 (see attached file) - but problem looks the same.

The issue was identified - KML files with dead/unreachable remote icon URLs (e.g. beta.wiating.eu) caused per-frame disk I/O for every visible point on every map render, freezing zooming. The fix will take effect in the next app version.
For the time being, there is a workaround - use the Map items method for viewing the KML file, without importing it. More info: https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php/manual:user_guide:items:management.
