Delay on route planner after online Lomap update ?

Hello Locus map team,

I regularly update Open Street Map on tracks and paths. I wait the online Lomap update to see the path/tracks changes before to plan a route on LM4.

Today the route planner do not alows to use the new paths/tracks I made one or two weeks ago. They are visible on the map but route planner do not want to use them.

Are there a delay between online Lomap update and router planner update ?

Hi Rafael,

yes, the routing data server is a bit delayed behind the map server, but not much - it's a question of a few days, a week at most. I'll check it with my colleague if there is a problem in the data renderer.

Hi Rafael. A bit more of explanation: Map generation and routing data generation are completely independent. Routing data generation runs in a cycle so there is not a fixed schedule. But yes, new data is produced roughly twice a week. (Unless something breaks and I need to fix it, like hardware issues and so on - the list of possible failures is long...) But recent weeks the schedule has been regular. Do you observe unexpected behavior when using the web planner? If you use LoRouter offline, the routing data may be more outdated, depends on download settings. If you use Graphopper router, that is out of our control.

Hello Radim,

I think I found problem is because I use LoRouter Offline with Lomap Online. No problem with LoRouter Online.

I always use LoRouter Offline. I suppose it is updated just after update of Offline Lomap.

To see attached recorded track I try to change into a route (OSM relation 20664277 : N°13 Flacy La source Bezeaux).

LM4 (not web planer), Online Lomap, LoRouter Offline, Hicking.

Problem is between 3 km and 8 km.

Hi Rafael,

offline routing data can be updated much more often than the offline LoMaps, see https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php/manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:settings#lorouter_offline

Hello Michal,

Thanks a lot, it fully works.

I'm a little bit disturbe to update "everything". I thought until now that "Account > Check for content updates" do it, but no.

Are there a command to update "everything" ? (for exemple before a hick, where network is available).

You can set it to update automatically; for me, it updates automatically every 4 days. And with LoMap, a notification pops up

Yes, I understand (now) for Offline LoRouter and I set also 4 days.

My question is more global: to update everything for offline use, LoMaps, LoRouter, elevation datas, etc..

It is not so easy for newcomer in LM.
