Recalculate when navigating if routing data is absent - no warning
Hello,
When using the route planner, if the necessary routing data is absent, then a warning message is given.
However, when navigating , if recalculate is executed, or else auto-recalculation is enabled and you go off course, then if the routing data for the location is not present then recalculate does not work - obviously it cannot - however there is no warning/error message to indicate this nor the reason.
This can happen in particular if a route has been imported then navigated without amending with the route planner, which would have prompted to download the routing data.
It can then be very confusing as to why it is not working.
IMO it should flash a warning up for some seconds, and if announcements are active with text-to speech then speak a message like "The route could not be recalculated because routing data is missing" (or similar) instead of the usual "Route has been recalculated" when it works.
Similarly if recalculate fails for any other reason it should indicate and/or speak that, if possible with the reason why, not just do nothing.
If it is auto-recalculate then any spoken warning perhaps should be limited in repetitions.
I've made this a problem not an idea because I think its omission is a fault, so it would not be an enhancement.
The same problem
