I try to import a photo of a map as an overlay on the maps in the app. I can't get it to work

How do I import an image as an overlay in the map. According to the features presented on the website it's possible and the main reason I downloaded the app.
But I can't figure out how to do it.
Found an old guide, but there are no matching menus in the app.
