Navigate with Google Maps no longer working

Hello, I am using Locus Map Lite 1.8.26 Build 1450 on an iPhone SE.

After selecting a point on the map, there are options to "Display with Google Maps" (or Apple Maps) and "Navigate with Google Maps."

This is very convenient, but for some time now it has stopped working: nothing happens when I trigger these functions: Google Maps does not open, and even if I open it beforehand, it still fails to receive the input from Locus Map.

Is there a specific setting or permission I need to adjust either on Locus Map or on my iPhone to restore this functionality?
