Feature request: One-tap “Ride mode” button for navigation, track following and guidance

I ride a motorcycle with the phone mounted on the handlebar. Today navigation was nearly unusable: my position kept drifting off the screen, and restoring the view took up to three taps on the centering button. Each tap changes a different state (centered, rotated, north-up). “Hold map center” showed the blue lock but did nothing, because centering had already been lost. On a motorcycle, fiddling with the map like this is dangerous.

Suggestion: a prominent “Ride mode” button (and/or an automatic option when navigation, track following or guidance starts) that sets everything in one step:

center on my position

rotate in the direction of travel

shift the map center down

activate “Hold map center”

optionally activate the screen lock

Additionally: if “Hold map center” is active but the map isn’t centered, the lock icon should show that. Or better: “Hold map center” should restore centering and rotation by itself.
