Is it possible to edit/correct navigation messages?

I am using Text To Speech navigation in Finnish language. I would like to modify the content. Is it possible?

For example, the message that should mean that I am lost from the planned route is wrong. It must be some error because se text has no sensible meaning in that situation.

I also would like to remove some words that are not required and are syntactically wrong.

For example: In finnish it is syntactically wrong to start navigation message with word that means "After". It would be better if there is no word before the distance.

Look for the tts file in the Locus directory /data/tts

The English file is called en_latest.tts, the German one de.tts (I’ve tweaked mine a bit).

You’ll have a Finnish one. You can edit the instructions in it using a text editor. Be careful: only edit the instruction texts, otherwise you’ll easily mess up the syntax and the file won’t work anymore.

Thank you for this info. Unfortinately I can see only the "en_latest.tts" in this folder. Should I try to update it or do something so it would appear here?

If you’re hearing instructions in Finnish, you’ll need a Finnish TTS file as well. Perhaps it’s in a different folder? Have a look using a file manager to see if you can find a *.tts file somewhere.

I downloaded the German TTS file from somewhere at some point, but I can’t remember where.
