Looks to me like Locus will display a .gemf

Via Google I found a sample .gemf tile set on this website in the UK:

http://www.cgtk.co.uk/gemf

On the left navigation panel look for "DOWNLOADS",

Then click "SAMPLE TILE SET".

Downloaded to my PC.

File name is "map_data.gemf and size is 11.3 MB.

Kaspersky scan says it`s clean.

Sent to my HTC EVO 4G.

Placed in sdcard/Locus/maps

The map lists as "map_data.gemf" on Map Manager/ Personal tab.

Select.

Execute address search for Bristol, England to get on map.

Map has 6 zoom levels: 5/7/9/11/13/15

The map is similar to Google Classic in detail.

**The website has a link to the Locus website !!**

I`m sure Menion will have more info.

Thats interesting as its such a good format. Seems to be supported natively as the map set has its own icons. Now to learn how to make maps in this format...:)

Many thanks
